I Rented a Japanese Grandma for a Day
🍡 Use code "PAOLO" to get $5 off for your first Sakuraco order here team.sakura.co/paolo-SC2404 and experience Japan from the comfort of your own home!
In Japan, rental services for a japanese girlfriend or japanese boyfriend have been around, but I recently noticed that you could rent a Japanese grandma for the the day and it got me interested.
Apparently, you can ask her to act like she’s your grandma and do stuff together, help out with house chores, attend family events, or simply ask for life advice, basically anything within reason. So in this video, I share my experience with you renting a Japanese grandmother for a day and the first thing I asked her to do was make me a traditional Japanese bento which later we’ll be taking to the park later for hanami to enjoy the Cherry Blossoms.

I don't like Japanese people at all. with their forced smiles, it makes me angry. when we try to be friendly, when we try to get to know them, they suddenly abandon us by “ghosting” us. They refuse to say their honesty, they impose their tatemae on us. They think they avoid conflicts but they are wrong. Japan is not the right place to meet people. and learning Japanese is painful

The Japanese annoy me. They force themselves to help others just because their culture requires them to be altruistic. Every time I say in comments that they are untrustworthy people because they refuse to show emotions and their true selves, there are cowardly trolls who answer me "you have to get to know them better" or "try to befriend them" before they stop responding to me for some reason after have blindly defended their friends... but how can we get to know them better exactly, for god’s sake? How can we understand people who are systematically reserved and shy? How can we convince them to show us their true selves? I want answers that come from experts in Japanese culture or from the Japanese themselves! As long as I don't have complete answers, I have every reason to be disgusted with their culture and disliking Japan!

it's a beautiful country , but full of superficial people who fool foreigners. i don't understand its locals, they allow themselves to criticize foreigners they doesn't know , but when we criticize them they do mind about it. over the years i have seen so much of stupid comments left by some japânese , they literally annoy people who has their right to leave negative comments and saying the truth about their culture. they defend their compatriots but they don't recognize their numerous cultural flaws . they ask us to SpEaK JaPaNesE , but what if we speak it poorly? not anyone has the courage to learn it during decades. some says we must get to know them so they can correct us our japanese , BUT HOW can WE do that?! especially if they refuse to share their feeling and showing us their personality , to always behave like automatons? i have enough of these nonsensical replies and these excessive mysteries, i wants answers said reasonably and honestly!

I am so agree with all of your points in this video. I went to Japan last year for a little bit, and this is one of the best countries I ever visited. I never felt so safe and this would be perfect environment for children. Japanese culture is simply amazing, food is always fresh, healthy and delicious, beautiful and well taken care of nature, polite and educated people. I will definitely come back with my kids. Love your videos, Paolo, very positive, interesting and informative.

I just saw a videos of two Japanese girl got pulled over and got arrested by the police and United States because they were driving at 80 mph and they did not pull over. So I guess my question for US just how does it look like in Japan when people get pulled over by police? I was hoping you can ask us and maybe let me know when you have a video reply?
